Remembrance Photography
Making moments last a lifetime.
It is In The Arms of Jesus Remembrance Photography and Grief Support's vision to serve families experiencing perinatal loss, to capture the precious moments and create lasting memories with your sweet babes. I will lovingly photograph your experience- your child's birth, your baby's first bath, their baptism, your family meeting and saying hello and goodbye, posed family portraits, and capture every tiny, perfectly, wonderfully made detail and feature of your precious little one.

Remembrance Photography can take place in many settings: in the hospital, funeral home, at a memorial service, graveside or in your home.

Choosing remembrance photography and memory making moments helps alleviate regrets for many families. The biggest regret for many parents is not being open to photography or not having enough pictures of their short time with their child. Many agree they are treasured keepsakes. Photos help tell your child's story and keep their memory alive.
Grief Companionship and Doula Services
You don't have to walk this journey alone.
In The Arms of Jesus is certified in comfort companioning care. As a comfort doula, I hope to be your advocate, to create lasting memories to honor your loved baby by facilitating tangible memory making opportunities. Instead of whisking baby away to a separate room to bathe, dress, and create hand and foot prints and molds, I give families-parents, grandparents, and/or siblings- the opportunity to make these memories together. Making these memories helps to limit regrets for many families. Another aspect of companioning care is to help you make decisions by providing helpful resources. I will walk with you through the devastation of your baby or child's death.
In The Arms of Jesus also offers postpartum doula services. In the future, we hope to also offer lactation doula services.
"Heaven Sessions" Photoshoots
We remember your loved one with you.
The hope of "Heaven Sessions" is to honor your loved one(s) in Heaven and to feel comfortable taking family photographs and/or capturing special occasions, such as holidays, or your loved one's milestones, birthdays, or anniversary dates. As a bereaved mom, I know how difficult it is to take a "family" picture when a piece of your family and your heart is missing. These sessions are for anyone grieving the loss of a loved one. During these "Heaven Sessions," you are welcome to bring a photo or ultrasound, weighted bear or stuffed animal, blanket, or other special symbol of your loved one to include in your photographs.

We also host special memorial and awareness events throughout the year to share our love, grief, hope, and healing.
"Heart's Eye" Photo Sessions and Photo Editing
We see your heart.
Many of us loss mamas feel a unique challenge to include all of our children in our photographs, but we aren't always sure how to do that. I see my daughter in every family photo and in everything we do with my "Heart's Eye." I would be honored to help you and listen to your "Heart's Eye" for how you "see" your loved one. I can add age-appropriate silhouettes to acknowledge and represent the missing piece of your heart. Â
I am open to all ideas to help you honor your precious family member(s) and share your heart.
Existing Photograph Editing and Touch-ups
Creating quality, treasured photographs for families.
I understand the desire to have quality photographs of your child or children in Heaven. Using my photo editing applications, I can edit and touch-up existing photographs or cell phone pictures. Fixing blemishes, colors, lighting, etc. can enhance photos and increase their quality. I hope to help create a treasured photograph for families.
